School Vouchers, Charter Schools and/or Public Education Choices And the American Tax Dollar

School Vouchers, Charter Schools and/or Public Education Choices And the American Tax Dollar

Where to spend tax revenue destined for one of the three choices insofar as President Obama’s campaign promise insofar as, educational reform. Decisions, decisions, decisions: The correct decision would be an equitable combination of funding all three: charter schools, school vouchers and also continued funding for public schools in America.
To withdraw in whole or in part of governmental tax funding from public education in and of itself would be a mistake for President Obama. It would be sending signals reverberating throughout America that one of the most important guarantees in America, namely that of all minor school children living in America possessing the civic/political right to obtain an equally high quality of education in America, is flawed. And, that all American schoolchildren do not obtain an equal right to a quality education in America. Returning to busing would make racism matters worse and the United States would risk riots not unlike those of the late 1960s.

Investing in charter schools is an equally important component involved in educational reform in America and must not be neglected to be funded. This is because culturally diverse closed communities exist in many in America such as the Amish in Pennsylvania. Closed communities in America such as the Amish should possess the right to religious freedom and also have their children obtain a quality education in America. Presently that community has problems practicing their right thereto. This is because they are not obtaining enough governmental funding in America to obtain the educational resources i.e., books, school supplies etc, involved in quality education to fund their own charter schools in which they can protect their right to practice their particular religion in America in conjunction with educating their communities children.. This is why partially using tax revenues to fund private charter schools is important.

In addition, school vouchers can offer parents an intelligence alternative to both public education and charter schools. In other words, parents not opting to send their children to a public education locally for various reasons can use their vouchers to send their child to a governmental funded charter school instead manifesting the importance of President Obama reforming education in America employing a combination of all three strategies to resolve the problem of educational reform.
